Terms of Service
These terms apply to everyone who creates an account on mycontri. By signing up, you agree to them. They are written in plain language because we'd rather you read them than have a lawyer obscure them.
What mycontri is
mycontri is a SaaS tool for tracking contributions — time and expenses — that team members make to early-stage projects. It supports approval workflows, equity calculations from logged contributions, polls, and an audit log.
mycontri is in beta. Features may change, break, or disappear. We'll try to give notice for breaking changes, but we make no guarantees of stability, feature continuity, or backwards compatibility during beta.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password and access tokens secret. If someone else uses your account, the actions they take are attributed to you in the audit log. Tell us at hello@mycontri.in immediately if you think your account has been compromised.
You must be at least 16 years old to use mycontri. You must give us a real email address you control — we use it for password resets, contribution notifications, and account-recovery email.
What you may not do
- Log false contributions to inflate equity or mislead your team.
- Share login credentials with anyone outside your team, or use a single account on behalf of multiple humans.
- Reverse-engineer the service, scrape data you don't own, or run automated load against the API outside of normal app usage.
- Use mycontri to harass, threaten, or defraud anyone.
- Violate any law in the jurisdiction you're using mycontri from.
Your data, your space
You retain ownership of the data you put into mycontri — contribution descriptions, project names, uploaded proof URLs, etc. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and process that data strictly to operate the service for you and your space's members.
See the Privacy Policy for the specifics on what we collect and how it's used.
Beta service — no uptime guarantee
mycontri is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no commitment to any specific uptime, latency, or feature stability. We do not currently offer an SLA. Production data may be lost during beta incidents — keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of mycontri.
Account termination
You may close your account at any time by emailing hello@mycontri.in. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when you do.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, abuse the service, or put other users at risk. For breaches that cause real harm (fraud, harassment, security attacks) we may terminate immediately. For everything else, we'll give you reasonable notice and a chance to fix the issue first.
We may also discontinue mycontri entirely if running it stops being viable. If we do, we'll give at least 30 days' notice and provide a way to export your data.
Changes to these terms
We'll email account holders before any material change to these terms takes effect. Continuing to use mycontri after the effective date counts as acceptance. The effective date at the top of this page tracks the latest revision.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Read the Privacy Policy for what we do with your data.
